which was formed to encourage and accommodate the students who are inclined towards writing. What stands as an inevitable challenge for women from rural and marginalised spaces is their encounter with English language and literature. As most of them are first generation students, coming from remote villages in Telangana, they grapple with English communication. Therefore, the “School of Emerging Writers” (SEW) seeks to imbibe interest in expression through book writing among undergraduate women students of TGSWREIS.
School of Emerging Writers lets a student explore into anything that they are fascinated about. However, the underlying mission to engage students in reading and writing (in the areas of their choice and interest) unfolds at each phase of their learning through customised course material, book grants, internship projects and one-one interactive sessions with subject experts. The recorded outcomes from students, whether in the form of writing, art or a product are transposed onto a professional platform where they begin to establish themselves as competitive participants in the real world which will eventually augment their artistic and entrepreneurial competencies. We look forward to original and creative book ideas from students so that they can start their journey as young and emerging author.

Projects Done
It is necessary for students to put forward their emotions and ideas. Writing will augment both expression skills and language skills. Nevertheless, writing is not necessarily about language, its not always about the readers, it’s about ideas that come from one’s own individual thoughts. Writing clears one’s mind and clarifies one’s underlying emotions. Once a student start writing, they gain a sense of fulfilment that will fully boost their confidence as a thinking individual. It’s not again just about confidence, but is also about entering one’s own universe of imagination, it helps the writer enter the unknown, making room for higher levels of thinking. Writing is about freedom. It's about knowing oneself. Writing gives the writer time and space to process deep seated emotions. It lets them dream bigger. Everybody’s thoughts are unique—one cannot compare their work with others.
